At Regions, the Commercial Banking Development Program is a two-year rotational program focused on developing an associate talent pool that has been exposed to and has foundational knowledge of the multiple areas of the commercial bank. The Commercial Banking Development Program Analyst will participate in a variety of commercial, treasury management, and credit products activities designed to refine a core set of technical skills that will be critical for long-term success in the commercial bank.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports Commercial Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers in relationship responsibilities, including interaction with current and prospective clients
Monitors news, current events, transactions and financial information for clients and prospects
Identifies client needs and recommends Regions products and services — or other unique, actionable ideas — that can help clients achieve their goals
Develops and gathers detailed financial information from clients to provide to Credit Products partners to underwrite prospective loan requests
Ensures high quality of client deliverables by having strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Prepares written material, including pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
