Screen

After submitting an application for a position, you may receive Screening Questions designed for you to share more with our recruitment team about your interests, skills and experience for that position.

Completing these questions is a required step to be considered further. If you apply to multiple positions, make sure to complete Screening Questions for each position if you receive them.

Interview

Our interviews are conducted via phone, in-person, or Microsoft Teams. For most of our interviews, we use an automated scheduling tool that works best with current and accurate contact information. Additional information may be needed from you ahead of a potential interview.

As you prepare, review your resume and be ready to share how your skills and experience connect to that position.

Stay Connected

You will be contacted by email, text message and/or phone regarding your status during the hiring process.

Make sure to include in your application an accurate, current and accessible email address and phone number, including text message capabilities, that you can regularly check and use to respond. 

This helps our recruitment team to reach you efficiently while also helping you through our hiring process.

Next Steps

Throughout this process, you will be contacted about your status and notified about next steps, including additional interviews, either during or following an initial interview.

If you are not selected to move forward, you will also be notified.

What to Expect: Our Interview Process

Let's start with who you will meet during the process.

You as the Candidate

You

As the candidate, you are an important part of the interview process. It's your time to shine and share how you would make a great addition to our team.
It's also a two-way experience. Be sure to ask questions to learn more about the position, the team and how Regions can be a great place for you.

Recruiter

Your recruiter will typically be your first point of contact and will help you throughout the recruitment process, including interviews. This is person is also the primary person for you to communicate with for assistance with interviews and answering your questions about the recruitment process, the position and working at Regions.

Hiring Manager

This is the individual who is responsible for making the hiring decision and likely the person you would be reporting to. You will also interview with the Hiring Manager as part of the recruitment process. In addition to learning more about you, the Hiring Manager will share more details about the position, responsibilities and expectations, in addition to more about the team for this position.

Interviewers

These are the individuals who have been asked by the hiring manager to interview you during the recruitment process. An interviewer could be a potential team member, internal partner or leader of that larger team. Interviewers are typically involved in an interview following an interview with the Hiring Manager.

Helpful Interview Tips

  • Prepare ahead of time by reviewing your resume and how best to share about your skills and experience.
  • Get to know Regions by exploring these resources.
    • This includes questions you'd like to ask the interviewer about Regions, the position and the team.
  • Be ready for your interview start time by planning ahead, whether in-person, phone or virtual.
  • For virtual interviews, turn on your camera when it starts and leave on during the interview.

Yes - you can apply to multiple open positions. You will need to complete a seperate application for each position that you want to apply.

With that, we recommend for you to be selective about which open positions you apply for. Make sure to review the job description, qualifications and location details to help you focus on applying to the open positions that most closely match your skills, experience and location preferences.

You will be contacted by either email, text message or phone. Be sure to provide current, accurate and accessible contact information when interacting with our career site and/or submitting an application.

Communications about our employment opportunities will come from a verified Regions email address (ending in @regions.com) or through our application and hiring platforms (typically ending in @jobalerts.regions.com, @careeralerts.regions.com or @myworkday.com).

Also, review your email and text message inbox filtering, including settings that could route our communications to unknown sender, spam or junk folders, to ensure you receive communications during the recruitment process. 

If you receive communication about employment with Regions from other email address handles, it may not be legitimate and use caution, if responding or engaging.

It depends - while certain positions do require financial services or banking experience, most of our positions don't. You can easily find out by reviewing the job description and its qualifications to help you determine whether your skills and experience could be a match. If it is, we encourage you to apply!

Most of our positions are onsite with a standard schedule as defined by an associate's manager. Each job descripion provides location details as well as expectations regarding work arrangements.
